Collecting your information
I am strongly committed to protecting your privacy while you shop online with Silly Gilly. There are two types of information that are collected whilst you are online with Silly Gilly. Firstly, there occurs the collection of anonymous information, eg how long each person visits the site, which pages are most popular etc. There is no collection of personal information if you do not provide it.
Secondly, there is the collection of personal information when you place an order that allows me to process your order. You are asked to provide personal details such as name, mailing address and phone number.
How is this information used? The anonymous information is used to develop and upgrade the Silly Gilly website. I use this information to measure customer interest in Silly Gilly products. The personal information is only used strictly to process your order. Under no circumstance do I provide your personal details to anyone for any purpose.
Your email address is also collected and with your permission I will provide you from time to time advice on special offers and sales. If you do not wish to be contacted in such a manner, please advise via email on silly.gilly@bigpond.com.
How secure is it to pay via Paymate/credit card?
All your transactions with Paymate are conducted in 'secure sessions' using the financial industry's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) standards with 128-bit encryption. You should check that your browser is compatible with SSL encryption. This is often indicated by a 'closed lock' icon at the bottom of your screen (from Paymate's privacy policy - www.paymate.com.au).
